Welcome to the The Gambia Pilot Program
The Gambia Pilot Program (GPP) aims at upgrading selected agricultural value chains for value addition, competitiveness and employment promotion, esp. for youth, women and vulnerable groups.
The GPP will be implemented in the Greater Banjul Area (GBA), the Lower River Region (LRR) andthe Upper River Region (URR).
The grants scheme of the GPP is an investment opportunity for the stable growth and competitiveness of the agriculture sector in the 3 target regions and the 3 selected value chains horticulture, poultry, and fishery.
Grants will be provided in the form of infrastructure and equipment along the 3 value chains, i.e. for production, storage, transportation, processing, packaging, distribution and marketing.
Additional advisory and training support will be given to successful grantees for the proper operation and maintenance of the new technology and, as required, for modern production methods.
On our social media platforms, we shall publish dates and locations for public information sessions in all 3 regions. Kindly follow our posts.
