GAMWORKS BIDS FAREWELL TO ITS LONGEST SERVING DIRECTOR GENERAL
The Project Implementing Agency for The Gambia Pilot Program, GAMWORKS, bids farewell to its longest Serving DG. Mr Ebrima Cham served as the DG of GAMWORKS for 17 years. Prior to his appoint, he was working as a chartered Engineer at one of the leading Engineering firms in the UK. After his appointment, he took two years sabbatical from his job in the UK to serve his country. Because of his love for the Gambia, he later resigned from his UK job and stayed 17 years at GAMWORKS. Under his leadership, GAMWORKS has successfully implemented and managed contracts in excess of US$170million. He has guided the institution in the right direction and has been able to restore confidence of the Government, Donor Agencies and Stakeholders.
